Job Description:

Skylight Codeworks is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Intern with 6 months to 1 year of prior experience in business development, sales, or a related field. This internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to real projects and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment. You will work alongside our Business Development team to expand the company’s reach, generate leads, and build strong client relationships.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to further develop their skills in business development and pursue a career in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Help develop and maintain a leads database and customer relationships.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging business trends and target demographics.
• Support the BD team in creating sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
• Participate in direct outreach efforts (email, phone, social media) to establish new business relationships.
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Attend meetings with potential clients and provide necessary follow-up and documentation.
• Help track and report progress on business development goals and metrics.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in business development or sales.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• A results-driven attitude with a passion for meeting targets.
• Ability to analyze market data and create reports.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with teams.
• Knowledge of the tech industry is a plus.
